The Sudbury Canoe Club’s annual Witches & Warlocks Paddle is returning for another unforgettable evening on the water.
Date: Friday, October 2, 2026
Location: Northern Water Sports Centre
Meet at 5:45 p.m.
Launch at 6:00 p.m. sharp
Paddlers are invited to dress in costume and join a gathering of witches, warlocks and other mysterious creatures as Ramsey Lake is transformed into a glowing celebration on the water.
Event features include:
Costumes encouraged DJ and themed music Photo booth Post-paddle social Non-alcoholic refreshments SUPs, kayaks, and canoes welcome
PFDs are required for every paddler.
Sudbury Canoe Club members may use club equipment, subject to availability. Community paddlers and non-members are welcome and should bring their own paddlecraft, paddle, PFD, and required safety equipment.
Our volunteers will be on-site at the main entrance collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations before and during the event. All proceeds and food donations collected will go directly toward helping individuals and families in our community put food on the table.
We accept non-perishable food items, cash donations, debit and credit card donations and cheques.
Tax receipts will be provided for cash donations of $10 or more.
