Sudbury Christmas Carol 2025

On Dec 14 at 2:00, find out how the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a Northern Ontario banker, made its way to Charles Dickens.
In the 1800s, young Pierre is in Montreal with this father who is putting up a large tree for the city. He soon finds himself telling a tall tale to a gentleman named Charles Dickens. Trying to impress Dickens, Pierre tells a scary story about a cold-hearted miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who lives in his hometown, soon to be named Sudbury. His story is filled with ghosts and time travel and sets the stage for one of the most iconic stories of the last century.

The outstanding cast is ready to perform this staged radio play of the Dickens’ classic, with a Sudbury twist. In partnership with the Rotary Club of Sudbury and the Sudbury Food Bank.
