The Art of the Dessert will take place on Tuesday, October 25th at our new warehouse located at 1105 Webbwood Drive. Tickets are available through The Sudbury Food Bank office!
What is The Art of the Dessert?
For the past four years, we’ve had artwork contributed by community artists and photographers to publish on the front of one of 13 Christmas/Holiday cards. The pieces chosen are donated by the artist and are auctioned off at the Holiday Card launch which takes place October 25, 2011 at the Art of the Dessert fundraising gala. The public is able to bid on the original artwork as well as a selection of fine wine and spirits that have been donated by friends of The Sudbury Food Bank. Every dollar raised (100%) is committed to food for those less fortunate living in the City of Greater Sudbury. The event recognizes the artists and supporters of the Food Bank. It also kicks off the holiday season and features a wine and dessert tasting.
