Thanks for Giving Day
All Sudburians! We need your help for the 5th Annual Thanks for Giving Day Event being held during lunch on Friday October 9th 2009. We are looking for your pledge to assist us in our fight to feed the hungry on that day and it's so easy! Registration form below.
The Idea is Simple...
On THANKS for GIVING Day, the Sudbury Food Bank invites participants to “brown bag it” and donate the money otherwise spent on lunch in support of our community! It’s that easy and since every dollar donated the Sudbury Food Bank generates seven dollars worth of food into the community…just imagine what your lunch money can do!
Get involved by becoming an TFG Leader or be registering to participate as an individual. It is an easy way to be part of making a difference in your community.

Be a Leader
As a TFG Leader you will register your group to be part of THANKS for GIVING Day and distribute information, motivate and track progress within your group, collect funds raised, and keep in touch with Sudbury Food Bank to let us know how things are going.
Sign Up As an Individual
Even if you’re not part of a group, you can be part of THANKS for GIVING Day. Register as an individual participant to receive your kit and start supporting your community.

The Sudbury Food Bank is an umbrella organization for its 40 member agencies helping more then 10,500 people per month. Nearly half of this number are children under 18 years of age.
Each kit contains promotional letters and donor cards for individuals in your group.
What we suggest is - you put up the posters at an easily accessible spot such has your lunchroom or reception desk. (Or if people get really excited about the opportunity to help, perhaps drop them off into mail slots), Get as creative as you want with it.
